Matt, Bella, and I recently visited The Wyld Dock Bar, a waterside hangout seafood restaurant, in Savannah. This is a restaurant that encapsulates the beauty of Savannah. The scenery is filled with flowers and water as it sits along the marshes on Livingston Avenue. Guests are able to enjoy great cocktails, bocce, and the firepit. Matt and I had fish tacos and oysters which was good. Because it is a popular spot amongst tourist, expect a wait depending upon what time in the day you visit. Also wear lots of sunscreen and mosquito repellant spray as you sit along the dock. For families with furbabies, you'll enjoy this spot as it is pet friendly. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for all outdoors lovers who like seafood and wings!

Laundry Service Experience
I recently was speaking with a friend about my disdain for folding laundry, lol. I mean it's a painful experience. The time it takes for every load to finish drying before you can actually wait to take it out the dryer is dreadful; it's very time consuming. Not to mention that once it's folded, you have to put it up- another process of ensuring your house is clutter-free and organized. Honestly, it's the one chore I would pay someone to do.
After the conversation, I realized that time and sanity are two things I wasn't willing to sacrifice and a clean clutter-free house was something I was willing to gain- by any means necessary. It led me to do research to see if there were any laundry services that operated similar to DoorDash or Uber that would do laundry for a reasonable price. Fortunately, there's one!
SudShare is an app that specializes in being a personal launderer. You place your order including special instructions, set your laundry outside for pickup, they pick it up, wash, dry, fold it, and return it to you the next day. I love it because the load is $1 per lb, the pickup and delivery is free, and you get to communicate with the launderer throughout the process. The customer service is so good! What I find disdaining, the launderers love it!
My personal launderer, Vienna, is phenomenal. My laundry is folded with perfection! Not only is my order customized for me, but she also ties the bags with pretty beautiful bows and custom labels. Vienna goes far and beyond the custom order, she attaches themed goodie bags to the laundry bags to show appreciation for the service. It's like I'm being rewarded for getting my laundry done. I absolutely love life without laundry. I highly recommend the service!

New Movie Alert: "You People"
2023 is off to a great start for movie watchers! "You People" on Netflix is by far one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while. This star studded cast of comedic actors did an excellent job depicting layers of an interracial relationship and the merging of families in today’s day and age.
"You People" is about relationships, social mores, and most of all, familial indifferences. It starts out with a cute budding romance and then reality hit in the form of their respective families. Eddie Murphy and Julia Dreyfuss plays the role of overbearing parents who want the best for their kids- in a different way, as they try to navigate the inherent differences of religions and an “interracial” relationship. My heart smile and I laughed throughout the entire movie.
It’s hard not to laugh at the more sophisticated jokes. The scene when Ducovny is at the piano singing John Legend…HILARIOUS! And when Dreyfuss awkwardly tries to compliment a Black woman’s breasts and later accidentally yanks off a long wig at the bridesmaids party…hysterically funny!
Eddie Murphy also did a very good job playing the stern, but loving father of the bride, as he browbeats Hill’s character as Hill pursues his daughter in marriage.
There were cringe worthy moments in the movie such as the dinner scene because it exposes some internal prejudices we may have in our society. But overall this movie was a great guide in showing how to initiate conversations regarding race relations in real life. Ultimately we see that we are more alike than we are different.
I highly recommend You People to anyone. Great cast, great plot, great theme…it’s a must see!
